Nubuck leather and soft suede cover the upper, with materials designed to develop a patina over time and reflect the history behind the shoe.

“Much Love and Respect,” the closing words from ’s letter, appear on the collar and accompanying hang tag. Underfoot, Air cushioning and a rubber outsole keep things rooted in classic Air 1 construction. Breaking up is hard to do.
