Finally making its long-awaited return, the LD-1000 was initially crafted as a long-distance runner, known for its sleek design, lightweight construction and performance-focused features. Constructed with mesh and suede on the upper, the LD-1000 features plush leather accents on the Swoosh and heel, followed by orange vintage logos and a graphic on the insole paying homage to Athletics West, a legendary track and field club, founded by co-founder Bill Bowerman in the late 1970s, adding an extra touch of nostalgia.
