ZX 8000 Made In Germany

The ZX 8000 is already one of our favorite pieces of late-’80s Running. Making it in Germany only gives us another reason to care.

For 2026, brings the 1989 runner to its Scheinfeld factory, rebuilding the ZX 8000 in Semi Frozen Lemon, Wonder Quartz and Blue Fusion with open mesh, premium suede and leather. The original was the first shoe to introduce Torsion, and that visible midfoot system remains right where it should be. Nearly four decades later, the ZX 8000 still looks technical without trying to look retro.
