A pumpkin pillow with a pun built in, this fall needlepoint lumbar reads "Let's give 'em pumpkin to talk about" in cream letters across a deep green panel, with a single orange pumpkin stitched above the words. The ground around it is warm orange worked with a pink scroll pattern, and dark green piping frames the edge.

It measures 9 by 15 inches, with a polyester needlepoint front and a green cotton velvet back. The lumbar shape sits low against a sofa or chair back, so it layers in front of larger fall throw pillows instead of competing with them.

Unlike a printed cushion, a needlepoint pillow has its design stitched into a canvas grid, so the color lives in the yarn and the lettering keeps a soft, pixel-like edge.

Perfect for: fall decor, Thanksgiving hosting, Friendsgiving, Halloween mantels, housewarming gifts, and seasonal hostess gifts.
